If you are a IV member living in NY and want to be actively engaged in the NY chapter activities, please send a PM to bottlemani. If all those in NY get together, it will be easier to plan joint visits to congress people: house members and senators. Even if you don't have a car, we will be able to coordinate better if we know you are willing to spare some time.

I am sure there are many members in NY. It is a big state with several businesses.

Please do remember: we have to do something more actively in order to get out of this mess. The more we procrastinate, the worse it will get. If you have suggestions, regardless of whether you live in NY, please do post them here.

Thanks for your reply. Nah,I didn't because I have read some where that post office doesn't forwarded the mails related to USCIS so I informed the tenants about the mail.

I think it means if you sent in your application then you can get a receipt by the date listed.
Atleast thats the interpretation I got from it.

Im using Asp.net.

The button text consists of data I have imported from an SQL database through a web client. I assume I should then replace the html character codes in the SQL database with these unicode identifiers? Would that still work with ASP.NET-C#?

It is a good sign for sure.
I don't know about F/P notice, but for sure it can not be RFE
i believe pre-adjudication does not even show on the status.

It is a good sign, you are still in the system!!
(1) It is most likely 2nd F/P notice or an RFE. It could mean that your case is being pre-adjudicated.

My husband just had his performance appraisal today. He is presently working as a Senior Consultant.What we are wondering is that if there is any change in the designation, will it affect the GC process in any way ?

We got our I-140 last month and EAD two weeks back.

Thanks. Basically we are trying our options and chances to see if it is possible to work towards a fellowship based on the current restrogressed scenerio. Would any of them have handled such scenerios, I guess Khanna's office would be best option ??? Stephen Perlitsh seems to have answers to all kinds of questions but he is difficult to access.

does it have to be any certain kinda eps file? I saved it as eps file in photoshop, and then import it to swift 3d. Then guess what happened.. I got a program erro pop up from swift 3d, it says "swift 3d has gernerted errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."

HI Folks

The reason for this post is as usual- too much confusion and no clear answers. i read on oh law firm that if you are not in a non-immigrant status i.e are working on EAD, there should be no gap in your EAD while you are working. Meanin you should stop working if your current EAD expires and your new EAD is pending- otherwise its a violation of law and provisions of 245 do not protect you because technically you are NOT a non-immigrant.

Is that true?????

Now, i recently had to go to India for an emergency, and had to come back on AP- did not have time to get my H1b visa stamped. I asked at the immigration counter if my H1b is invalidated and he told me it is. I spoke to my lawyer and she told me if you resume your H1b employment with the same employer- you are back in status- i kinda did not buy that though.

Can someone please shed light. My concern is that my EAD is expired- new one is pinding. Although i was on h1b when i left for India, but came back using AP. Am i breaking a law by working??

Hi All,

I lost my renewed EAD. It was approved for 2 years. My license is expiring in SEP 30th. Can I submit AP in DMV for status check. If I applying EAD for lost card, Can I at least submit receipt notice? I dont think I wont get replaced card before SEP 30. Please help me. I am not in H1B status.

You can work on H1B visa till you get FINAL approval or denial.

Whats your attorney openion?

I do not have direct contact with the attorney.
My company hr says i can work as per the attorney.

I am wondering will this have any effect on my I-485?

Can i apply for H1 transfer during this period?

Please advise.
