Hi,
I just found out that my employer did not update the work location on my LCA. I have been working in new jersey for over 4 years now. I have my primary address as Indiana and my company is registered in Illinois. I got payroll on Illinois for 2 years and now NJ for 1 year.
How can i correct this? Is it too bad a problem already?

Andrew,
I believe you should be okay if you were not employed during that period. Remember the green card is for future employment.
But for the best advice check with an Attorney before you proceed to the interview and be prepared for questions regarding the gap.

I have my I 140 approved in 2006 and it has priority date. Filed my I 485 in August 2007. The priority date in the receipt is blank, guess looks to be normal.

My mother scheduled a trip to USA on May 1st. I am concerned about her passport. Her old passport got wet on the borders of the first two and last two pages. VISA was stamped in the old passport which seems to be safe. I do not see any wet appearance on the borders of the VISA page. The old wet passport expired anyway. And she got new one. Will it be safe to travel with these two passport having wet old passport containing VISA stamp? Thanks.

Effective January 1, 2011, Delta has eliminated mileage expiration policy so you can earn and redeem miles without worrying if and when your miles will expire.

Can you please specify process to donate miles. I have 21,000 miles with Delta that will expire soon and I don't intend to use it.

Hi all,
I am trying to use an existing labor from my company which has oct 2001 priority date. To date I have nine years experience and I have passed out in 1997.
I started working in Aug 1996 and continued my studies and finished it by mid 1997.
Labor cert is EB2 has requirement as master degree with 3 yrs exp or bachelors and 5 years exp.
If consider at the time of application experience then I meet all the job/tech area and experience (nearly 95%). My question is should by current experience be considered then I am over 9 years nearly 10 years exp.
What experience will be considered when labor cert is transfered? If it is my current experience because the labor is getting switched to me now or if it’s my experience at the time of the application was applied. How strict is INS to match each and every criterion in swapping a labor.
My other question is how strick is INS on the term mentioned in requirements. If the applicant transfering the labor matches in all aspects almost 100%, and in required experience one is short by one 3 months or less would INS still consider all other aspects and can OK it.

I am currently working for compnay A. I got selected for company B. They already started my H1B transfer. But some how I got in troouble in one offense. I already told my company about this offense, they are saying they will be able to support me on the employment point of view. I have fear in my my that if something goes wrong I may not be able to join that company.
I am curretly thinking to deny the offer. Compnay B is okay with that, only they are saying that they have to back out the paperworks i.e. probably cancel H1B transfer. Is is going to create any problem for me as my current employ is also ready to start my H1B renewal. Also I have EAD with me, is there going to be any problem for GC.

I've been thoroughly unsuccessful trying to guess what they want to see. Not that any of the chosen finalists have been bad, I've just wondered how some entries could have been left out. The criteria seem a bit mysterious or arbitrary, so... I'll just shoot something/anything for fun, and if it suits the jury - cool. :)

Can someone travel with AP with an expired passport? Thank you.
You always need to have valid PP during travel (esp when travelling overseas,POE)....Not a expired one...

If they are staying on a resident or employment visa in UAE they have to apply at the US Embassy in Dubai. If they are on a visit visa in UAE, they have to apply at the appropriate US Consulate in India.
