I already applied 485 with one I40 Priority date.

If I get my another labor approved with a old Priority date, can I amend my existing 485 with this new PD or should I be applying new 485 ?

Start renewing your passport asap. Its not a good idea to send expired/to be soon expired passport to USCIS. We will never know what kind of questions they ask. So my advise is please renew the passport asap. It takes max 2 weeks (Indian passport not sure about other countries).

it is approved and I'm still waiting for my renewed passport from SFO.

If my H1B is revoked, how much grace period will i have ? After my H1B is revoked, how many days can i stay in this country ? And again if i find a new employer to transfer H1B, how should i proceed.Please advise.

Mine is 485 pending and my AP had (soft) LUD dated mid of Feb 2011.
Soft Vs Hard explained here (http:///2011/01/hard-vs-soft-lud-how-to-use-it-to-track.html)

It is really funny. I guess no amount of me explaining about soft LUD would help. People will still track them and waste their time.

I think you can safely sponser visitors visa while you are on H1B. What do you mean by working at clients place? is that place listed on your H1B application. Many times Attorney list any other state as required. I remember my attorney doing this. But still, I don't think it should matter, at the same time, I am not an attorney.

You can work on H1B visa till you get FINAL approval or denial.

Whats your attorney openion?

I do not have direct contact with the attorney.
My company hr says i can work as per the attorney.

I am wondering will this have any effect on my I-485?

Can i apply for H1 transfer during this period?

Hi

After changing the address on sunday, there were soft luds for 2 days on all pending 485.

Is this same with all address change.Last time it took 3 weeks to get the letter.

Any experiences?

Earlier USCIS has announced a fee hike from this month end. Ideally they should extend that fee hike till Aug 17th.

Anyone got any clues?

I have a curious situation. I have filed EB3-485 as a secondary applicant to my wife. I am currently in a job where I can't file a green card ( this is my 5th year of H1b). My understanding is one can't have a seventh year extension for H1b unless his I-140 is approved.

Should I consider changing the job and filing another GC by myself. I know I can continue renewing EAD but I still want to keep my H1b

For you to file I-485 the dates must be current, yes you can file for I-485 yourself.
