On March 30, we all 3 received soft LUDs and on March 31, my wife was issued a RFE. This is about her incomplete TB test. We have till May 1st to submit the evidence.

I am a July filer and was issued a RFE recently. The last update on my case happened a week after USCIS received my reply. I have not been notified for any fingerprinting.

Same thing happend in my wife's case too. The status changed with a hard LUD on 04/03/09 (Friday) saying that a RFE has been issued. Again a soft LUD on 04/06/09. I guess they sent out the RFE on Monday.

If you dont mind my asking, did you work at all during these 6 weeks?
Folks I have an update on my case.
We filed for Motion to reopen on which were receipted on March 27th, 2009. I wrote to Congressman, Senators and also Ombudsman. Today my congressman's office got an update that our MTRs were approved on April 30th and our 485s got reopened and they have sent letters to that effect.
What a relief. It was a stressful 6 week ordeal. Thanks to IV and its members for the help and support.

Exactly same thing is going on with me, getting a soft LUD almost every day! (to be precise three times since they received my RFE response). Not sure what's going on?
Ok here is my experience,
had a hard LUD and received RFE for 325A and birth certificates,
Replied to RFE - USCIS received the mail on the 8th, same day in the evening, received a hard LUD saying, RFE response received and is under process.
Till today, I have been seeing soft LUD on our case, I dont know what is going on !!!

You are hitting the right buttons here! You can say it is either laziness or fright/jitters or the comfort of current H1B approval/stamp that is making the large populace to sit tight.
Guess what, once some of the battles are won (we can never win all - they will always be ongoing), we should either knight pappu or induct him to "IV Hall of Fame".
Thank you Janilsal. People like me come and go after finishing their work. I just want IV to be remembered for getting rid of retrogression and solving the GC problems that plague hundreds of thousands of high skilled immigrants. each and every member of IV is important in order to achive this. one member or even the entire core cannot do it alone if there is no support and efforts from IV members. IV members are more important than one member in this struggle.

I had been researching this entire week. Well, I haven't found any company so far from anywhere that has actually covered pre-existing conditions for visitors to United States.
Therefore, I believe that visitors insurance would help in case of any new medical conditions, or injuries that were to occur after buying the policy. Insurance is really not for pre-existing conditions. (Someone gave me a couple of examples, would you really get house insurance after the house is on fire? Or car insurance after you had a car crash?) I think that regarding pre-existing conditions, we are on our own. I think that we need to take that risk ourselves if we want to invite someone with pre-existing conditions as no one else will take away our headache so that we can safely invite our parents. Being from Bania community, I know for sure that no company will do business in loss by really covering pre-existing conditions, even if emergency.
For now, I have purchased comprehensive coverage from US based company and I hope for the best.

IV tracker shows 3000+ EB3-I applicants, however, it is not a good tool to make analysis off of. The sorting function does not consider month-year combo. Anybody knows how to download the data to run your own post processing??

And as far as "nothing is happening, let's get temporary relief and let's not fight for more numbers" idea is concerned, we are already doing that by trying to get 485 filing provision done in next few days as a temporary relief.

As far as I know from friends who have had similar case in the past, yours is not at all an uncommon situation. My belief is that use of PO Box on physical address helps to get documents re-directed to their correct department. Absence of same means that the personnel in charge have to "think" where to re-direct and nothing more than that. Again this is based on what I know from reliable friends.
