Does anyone know how to capture HD footage as SD? My camera's a Canon HDV 30, got Final Cut Express HD and iMovie HD to work with.

10 GB bandwidth?
This can't possibly mean 10 GB/s, can it?
Edit: I just realised that they mean 10 GB traffic, not bandwidth.

For people who own the iPhone 4 and are happy with iPhone 5 being pushed back (so your phone still feel 'new'), this delay only means the iPhone 6 (the one that most of the iPhone 4 owners will be upgrading to) will also be pushed back when it comes to 2012. If Apple is going to release the iPhone 5 in September or later, the iPhone 6 will be out September 2012 at the earliest.
So basically, the whole timeline for bi-annual upgrade got screwed… (well, only for early buyers anyway.)
things are 'pushed back' only if there is an original promised date - which there isn't. But let's say there is an 'expected' mid-summer release, and the product actually came out in Sept; there's still nothing to say apple won't release another iPhone in mid-summer in 2012.
Basically it's all guess-work.

That isn't entirely true. iPhone 1,1 (and soon iPhone 1,2) users can't run all apps. Anything that requires 4.0 (probably 4.3~5.0 for iPhone 1,2) won't run. Neither will things that require a certain amount of horsepower (say like Infinity Blade).
REALLY? You're going to throw a 3 and 4 year old phone into the argument? Fine. How many old Android phones can run all the available apps. Heck, how many Android phones less than a year old run all the apps available?

How about fixing the bug where listening to home sharing from your iDevice doesn't update play counts in iTunes like its suppose to. Not sure if it's a iOS bug or a iTunes bug but it doesn't work on either Windows or OS X.
Made a post here about it and on the official Apple boards and haven't found a single person who said it works for them. Only people who are also complaining about it.

It was just a joke in response to the "tyrannical digital overlords" comment
If you think anyone is abusing their "power", report it, and if you're right we'll soon be demoted.
Don't worry, he's promised to be a good boy. And he knows that he has to keep it clean.
DHaha yea, I know, all in good fun. :p
I'm sure all new positions will be honorably filled :D

It is seeming more and more likely that enhanced interrogation techniques (a.k.a. torture), provided information that allowed the U.S. to kill O.B.L.....
edit;
I doubt we'll ever know the real facts as it's already turned political. It seems that supporters of torture are going to claim it worked and opponents will say the opposite
Before a day had passed, the torture debate had flared. The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, Representative Peter T. King, Republican of New York, told Fox News that the success of the hunt for Bin Laden was due to waterboarding. The next morning, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat of California and chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said just as flatly that “none of it came as a result of harsh interrogation practices.” NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/04/us/politics/04torture.html)
for what it's worth, the NY Times report contradicts the idea that torture provided the vitally useful information

That's probably true, but I can hardly delete it, then he'd report me for silencing my own critics  :p
Maybe you could delegate some authority to Demis or Contributors for doing your dirty work, then we temporary iMods could do your bidding without your hands getting dirty. To ensure that none of us became too power hungry, you could randomly rotate through a list of candidates using a technique called the the iMod Shuffle.

I'm from the UK, where capital punishement was abolished in 1969. Here in the UK we would love capital punishement to be reintroduced, a life for a life as they sayDon't include me. Your reasoning is as confused as your conclusion. There is absolutely no logic in maintaining that killing is wrong and then appealing to that principle to justify more killing.

BTW, what is with people like you who think they need to relate everything to slavery, the holocaust, or racism? :o
Possibly because that is what's happening, wage slavery, deaths in Africa, the percentage of black people in U.S. goals, any of this making any sense to you?

...Ok, I am 47....to paraphrase IIRC Chris Rock (or maybe Eddie Murphy), in my youth a shot cured you, but this ****** kills.". In my youth we did not have AIDS or Herpes...
If you're 47 you were ~23years old when AIDS hit the headlines. When did your 'youth' end? Oh and I'm pretty sure herpes was about, but it shows how bad sex education either state or parental must've been back then!
...Except if you want to have a drink!...
Again it seems society differs between the US and many other places. I could legally drink in restaurants with my parents and I think it's legal to drink from 16years when you're having a meal with at least one person over 18years at the discretion of the restaurant although most won't serve to protect their own license.
