Well this is a organization that is run by volunteers and given what they are already doing I personally don't expect them to notify everytime a web fax is put up. I just make it a point to check the website regularly and do whatever I can to chip in...thats my 2 cents...
Well How do you know that all the members who are registered with IV is aware of this Webfax? Did you guys notify them in anyway? Do you expect/mandate all the IV members should be checking the website/forums all the time? No Hard feeling.... Just my 2 cents

I have I-140 filed and waiting for visa numbers to be current my PD is March 05 and Her name is given in I-140.
Since she will exhaust all her H1B years by end of this sept, he needs to be on either h4 or F1.
I have long wait for filing I-485, can she be on F1 in the meantime and then convert on H4 right before I could file for AOS?

In the first place, without knowing the job details how a person gets an offer? by the way LCA number will never give a detailed description of nature of job.

sorry to ask this question as it may be asked previously still i need to know the latest info.
Having AP and EAD ( i am not primary ) and want to travel to india from atlanta for round trip. what are the documents i need to carry ? What are the things i need to follow ? For the infant baby who is USA citizen what documents i need to carry ?

I am working for Company A I applied GC from Company B
I joined in Company B just one month ago but my 180 days passed can i port AC21 is there any copulsory period need to be on their payroll

Hi,
My company has applied for my wife's L1B to L2 conversion on 28-OCT-2008 at Vermont Service Center. Anyone knows how much time typically it takes for this request?
When we are checking USCIS website, we are getting the following message continuously. My wife called to USCIS and USCIS said, case status is valid only in the system and the person does not know why that error message is coming.
"Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, you can either call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283, or you can send an e-mail to uscis.webmaster@dhs.gov."
We are thinking that probably lots of applications are pending and that could be the reason. Once they pick up, it will be changed to Case received and pending and finally a decision will come.
Do you know if this is something we need to worry about that something might be wrong which might cause a long delay? Actually my wife is pregnant and she can travel back by air only till January 15th, 2008 at the maximum. So we are just worried.

What if I fall on category EB-3 and not from India and China. Can my employer still file it ? This is because the minimum requirement for this job is a Bachelors Degree even though I do have a masters degree.

Find another employer who is willing to do an EB2 and you might have EAD in 6-8 months

Will I be breaking any laws if I just do voluntary marketing and promotional work for my company in India.
Here is the situation :
My clients will be in USA and they will be paying my company in India. I will be on the board of the company , and will be doing voluntary marketing and promotional work for the company while residing in USA.

Either you can enrich your skills by joining some short term courses or do small work (like teaching kids/ day care/ dance classes/ singing etc) where in you can earn CASH .................. I am not sure of your background so cannot comment on choices that you have.

you know.. I meant to do this a while ago, but lost track of the thought. I have a write up in one of my books, done by Colin Moock, in which he takes his frame rate tester and tests a variety of things to see which effect frame rate and to what degree. There are huge set of techniques by which searching in Google can be done more accurately, and here is a list of them that I frequently use.

Google's Boolean default is AND; that means if we enter query words without modifiers, Google will search for all of them. If we search for:

Google will search for all the words. If we want to specify that either word is acceptable, we can put an OR between each item:

If we want to exclude a query item from search results, use a -.(minus sign or dash:
computer -programming
Note that there is no space after the (-) sign.

"Some Interesting Google Search Technique"
3. Period (.) and Asterisk (*) can also be used as traditionally used.

SKIL Act says NON US advance degree holders should have 3 year experience before filing immigrant petition. Is this experience before filing LABOR or before filing I-485. My LABOR and I-140 is approved and I have NON US Masters degree but did not had 3 years of US experience before filing LABOR.
Now I have more than 5 years of US experience, will I fall into this category when I file I-485.

The threads are displayed on the web page in the descending order of the last update time. People just write SOMETHING in a thread to keep it on the top of the page and prevent it from going on to the 2nd page.
Most people use 'Bump" to bump the thread up :), but it can be anything
