and oh by the way, there is only ONE school that i know of in India, that gives out a Bachelor's degree worth anything. I am sure you know what it is. I am also sure you did not manage to get through to study in that school.

IV has people on the national advisory board that include the previous USCIS ombudsman, what is their take on this? I have not seen any thoughts from such experts that support this organization on this issue of quarterly spillover

If possible, please change it without any delay? EB3 is only able to cross past May 2001 for 3 times in last 3 years where EB2 are enjoying GC most of time. No point in playing wait game with EB3 India. Otherwise, you will wait for-ever. :)

c. passed the fbi name check.
d. their case made it to the hands of adjudicator who is taking a final look at it.
it is difficult to finish all these in less than two months.
but you may never know, there might be some lucky ones.

I agree with you..
I've so many hard working American friends... it really make me want to work harder to compete with them, but these bunch of cry babies at Numbers are scared of skilled workers, they don't want to upgrade their skills, they want to work 9-5 and get paid for their incompetencies.

Thats a new trend. They go to colleges and meet a group of Indian students who are about to graduate and take them out of drinks and dinner and give a presentation about their company. Then when these students come into OPT status, they are all given food + guest house accomodation. Then they are put under intense training for 2 to 3 months and made to do some mockup projects. Then their resumes are massaged with 4 to 5 years of experience ie experience from date they graduated in the under graduation and their MS education is stripped off on their resumes.
This seems to be a trend, though the practice seems not too good. As most immigrant students are hard working and determined, they put additional hours and make up for experience and perform well at clients. They get a decent 65K to start with from the consulting company and their h1bs are filed well before the cap ends.
Can you please share with me PM some of these companies as I am lookin for a h1b sponsorer for someone i know who has done masters here.... and is fresher... not that he wants to put fake.... he is ready to get a entry level salary and state that he graduated out of school and is a fresher..... just that he wants someone to do his h1b...

I could get labor cases filed for INDIANS only for years 2007,2006,2005. For other years the data is not available.
Folloing are the details:

This is consistent with what USCIS's release data says as well.

Cumulative count till Feb 2002 is 2349. So in rest of the year (9 months since Dec data release) all these people should get visas. If they do not get again there is something wrong.

if you are current, when can you expect to get an approval notice ?
My online I485 status continues to be in "Initial Review" stage and the last date of change on my file was back in 2008.
Is there anything we can do to shake this up or just wait.

I would think better than doing one day off from work let all the state chapters do a mela for diwali, distrubute flyers, educate american citizens about legal immigration, get contributions and then pass on to IV.
Lets check which state chapter can get max contributions
Rather than a flower campaign, I'd rather have no EB legal immigrants at work day where every single legal immigrant and should not go to work.
If you have or want citizenship via EB Immigration, you don't go to work for one day, say Jan 02 2009. Then people will realize that we are important to them. A lot more than Gmail (http://tech.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=08/10/16/194244) will be down.
