You should be able to work with any company provided they are ready to give you support when USCIS asks for an RFE about your employment status.
Also you have to make sure that your job fall in the same description that you have filed the 485 for.

Hi All,
I would like to ask if it is possible, and how long does it take if so, for
my parents who live in India to visit me in the UK, then we all apply
for tourist visas for my brother's marriage in the US.
I have indefinite leave to remain in the UK but am not a citizen yet.
The earlies times for appointment for an interview for my parents
in India is 4 months! whereas my brother will be getting married in 3...
Is it possible for them to get the tourist visa for US from here in the UK?
How long would that take if applicable?

Hi,
In DS-156 form there is an item 36 which says "Has anyone ever filed an immigration visa petition on your behalf",
What should be entered for H4 visa holder whose 485 has been filed.
And if we have to say "Yes" to this question , then whose name should be mentioned in "If Yes ,Who?", should it be the spouse name or the spouse company name ?

had same issue when i applied, last july. Attorney said H4 receipt missing shouldnt be a problem.

Im using Asp.net.

What if her H1 is not approved until Aug? Is there a point in filing for H4 extension up to Sep 30th in Aug? What are the consequences of that not getting approved before sep 30th? In that case waiting until Oct 1st seems to be the better option.
I will talk to a lawyer and let you know what kind of response I will get.

My employer participates in e-verify and we have several employees in H1/EAD/OPT etc. No issues so far.

my wife is US citizen , applied for permanent residency (green card) almost 6 months back , my interview was 2 days back, everything went thru alrite, the immigration officer said at the end of interview , " your case been aproved, but we did not get the background chk from FBI , as soon as we get it we are going to mail you the green card "

Some additional information. My wife's first semester will be Fall semester as H4 and spring as F1. She will graduate by the end of spring- i.e. May 2009.
Well most of the time classes you need are not offered in the summers, also as a International student you can take summer semester off, you legally have that right. Now don't pick classes in the summers, move it to the fall semester. Also
I checked with my counselor, if you are left with only once class, you can take it in the fall, all you would need to is, contact your counselor and let him take care of the paper work. in that cases you don't need to take 3 classes to maintain your F1status.

Guys, please don't start Indian firm bashing here. This site is being visited by people of other nationalities as well as offices of the lawmakers. I totally agree with black_log. Involving Indian firm or trying to use Indian political influence can cause sever damage to our cause. Its not just applies India abut any nation other than US. Unfortunately this is not the first thread of its kind.
Instead of having TCS, Infosys or Wipro trying to put influence why cant we have companies like Google, Intel, Micrsoft, Cisco or Yahoo. Their voices will be heard with respect.
