here are the visa numbers used in 2006 for EB2 and EB3.
EB-2: India(3,720), China(3,347), Canada(1,248)
EB-3 Skilled: Mexico(6,766), Korea(4,375), Philippines(4,114), Ecuador(3,747), Brazil(3,670), Poland(3,230), India(3,006), China(2,477), Pakistan(2,091)
Assuming there are atleast 300K Indians waiting for visa numbers in the EB2 + EB3 category (including dependents) and 6726 out of them were covered last year, we will have to wait for just another 44 years and 7 months to get an immigrant visa number. LOL

I think if you have a W2 for a job ... you did ... you need to list in G325A ...thats the info I got from legal when I filled the app

I am planning to visit India during May 2011. I am working in multinational company as civil engineer (on H1-B). I have PhD from US uni. I am reading a lot about visa stamping probs these days. Please help me taking decision whether to take chance (& visit India) or not. will appreciate any advises especially from ppl with such recent experience. Thanks.

we were given special treatment because of our US citizen children. No waiting in line and even no qu from VO once he came to know about children
Actually I think that special treatment may be for all H1-b renewals. When we went for our stamping 3 years ago at Delhi, at the outside window they stamped our passport with "green" sticker or something like that and when we entered the hall at the FP window, they said you don't need to stand in line and we were taken directly to AO. We did not have children and it was my 2nd H1 renewal stamping and my wife's first H4 renewal stamping.

My current Attorney could not inform my employer for H1B RFE. H1B RFE supposed to be submited by May 25th. however Attorney only informed today about the RFE. Employer needs a week to submit RFE. can we submit RFE after RFE submission date ?

They will be able to provide you an emergency AP. This has happened in the past. If you can prove the emergency, you can get AP in a few hours.

I have my EB2 485 pending (since July, 2007). I have EAD based on that filing. I am also on H1B - so I am not using EAD. But my wife intends to use EAD (based on our current EB2 based 485 filing) from coming August.
In the meanwhile I have got my EB1 140 approved. My question is if we file for 485 based on EB1 petition, do we lose our current EAD till a new EAD is issued under new filing? Are there ways to ensure that my wife continues with her employment and I move ahead with 485 filing?

Explore interfiling... no personal experience ... but the idea is that they use the same I-485 but interchange the underlying I-140. Seems like there is no special form for this but to just write to USCIS with evidence for the new approved EB1 I-140.

I am in NYC. My wife's attorney Stephen Perlitsh, is just too busy to give us some career guidance and cancels our appointments in last moment. I have no problem paying a good fee if I can get a real good prefessional advice, it is very essential for us in this retrogressed scenerio.

I am keeping fingers crossed.
The Cover letter shows the confirmation with employer name and SOC code and Dallas BEC # . It says that ETA750 is enclosed which of course is mailed to lawyer.
So you mean to say that I can file another I140 just with additional information when I receive the package or wait for RFE and then send the originals.
